Although there is no official anime adaptation announced yet, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex continues to captivate fans with the latest developments in the manga by Masashi Kishimoto and Ikemoto. While the Seventh Hokage’s son struggles step by step to fight against the brainwashing Eida has imposed on the ninja world, the former Kara member still wields her powerful reality manipulation abilities.
Most people around the world are affected and view Eida favorably, but somehow Uchiha Sarada and Sumire remain immune to the All-Powerful’s influence. In the newest manga chapter, the shocking reason why Sasuke’s daughter can resist this mental manipulation has finally been revealed.
After Eida is stunned to discover that Sumire and Sarada were only pretending to be affected by her power, Daemon’s sister has to explain herself. She reveals the deeper reason why these two Konoha kunoichi escaped her reality manipulation. Shockingly, Eida realizes she herself is the cause why Boruto’s friends’ memories remain unchanged.
The former Kara member analyzes in detail: “It’s unnatural that two people who are not Otsutsuki could resist the All-Powerful’s influence. Could it be because Boruto, an Otsutsuki, has captured your hearts? No, that’s not enough. Many others, both inside and outside the Leaf Village, also have special feelings for Kawaki and Boruto.”
