Screen & Ink respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. We respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

Reporting a copyright infringement

If you believe that material on this Site infringes a copyright you own or control, please send a written notice to our designated agent at [email protected] that includes all of the following:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, with enough detail and the exact URL so we can locate it.
  4. Your contact information, including name, address, telephone number and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
  6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.

Our response

Upon receiving a valid notice, we will remove or disable access to the material in question within a reasonable time and, where appropriate, notify the user who posted it.

Counter-notification

If you believe your material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification to [email protected] including your contact details, identification of the removed material and its previous location, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court.

Repeat infringers

We reserve the right to remove content and, in appropriate circumstances, terminate access for users who are found to be repeat infringers.
