Since his debut in Dragon Ball Super: Broly, Broly has proven himself as one of the strongest fighters ever seen in Dragon Ball. With immense innate potential, he can increase his power during battle and quickly catch up to, even surpass, top fighters like Goku and Vegeta.
This constant evolution ability has given Broly several devastating techniques. Here are the 5 most formidable moves the “Legendary Saiyan” has showcased.
1. Aura Trap

Early in the fight, Goku realizes Broly isn’t truly evil and uses God Bind to hold him still, trying to calm him down.
However, Broly quickly breaks this God Ki technique with his massive energy. Not only that, he reverses the attack by trapping Goku in his own energy, creating an Aura Trap.
While not a finishing move, Aura Trap shows Broly’s power is strong enough to overwhelm even divine techniques.
2. Planet Crusher

Facing two Super Saiyan Blue warriors, Broly repeatedly unleashes attacks that shake the battlefield. One of these is Planet Crusher, where he forms a giant Ki sphere above his head and hurls it at his target.
Planet Crusher resembles the Spirit Bomb in that it gathers massive energy into a sphere. But unlike the Spirit Bomb, which draws energy from others, Planet Crusher is powered entirely by Broly’s own strength.
The giant Ki ball spins violently, creating whirlwinds and shockwaves even before impact.
When Broly targets Goku with Planet Crusher, the explosion nearly destroys the entire surrounding area. Notably, Broly is still in his base form while Goku has transformed into Super Saiyan Blue.
3. Omega Blaster

The moment Frieza kills Paragus is the turning point where Broly completely loses control.
After learning of his father’s death, all his pent-up emotions explode, awakening his Super Saiyan power and the extremely dangerous Omega Blaster technique.
Unlike Planet Crusher, Omega Blaster does not focus energy on a single target. Instead, Broly turns his entire body into the focal point, releasing a massive Ki blast in all directions. A series of energy explosions engulf the battlefield, turning it into a sea of fire.
Thanks to his Super Saiyan power, Omega Blaster’s destructive force far exceeds Planet Crusher, making it one of Broly’s most terrifying wide-area attacks.
4. Gigantic Roar

After further evolving, Broly reaches the Full Powered Super Saiyan state, also known as Legendary Super Saiyan.
In this form, all his power stats skyrocket, unlocking one of his signature moves: Gigantic Roar.
This move is simple but incredibly destructive. Broly gathers massive Ki and fires a powerful energy beam straight from his mouth.
Using his mouth instead of his hands highlights the wild, beast-like nature of the Legendary Super Saiyan, making him seem more monster than warrior.
In the film, Gigantic Roar appears in various forms. Sometimes the huge energy beam splits into dozens of smaller Ki blasts, expanding the attack’s range and leaving opponents almost no chance to dodge.
5. Gigantic Omegastorm

By the time Dragon Ball Super: Broly takes place, Broly’s power is so immense that Goku and Vegeta must fuse into Gogeta to stand a chance.
Interestingly, Broly’s strongest technique doesn’t appear in his Legendary Super Saiyan form but in his regular Super Saiyan state. This is the Gigantic Omegastorm.
This attack concentrates a massive amount of Ki and fires it straight at the opponent with power surpassing all previous moves.
In the film’s final battle, Gigantic Omegastorm clashes head-on with Super Saiyan Gogeta’s Kamehameha. The two equally matched energies create an unprecedented explosion, breaking spatial barriers and pushing both fighters into a strange dimension.
This is one of the most visually stunning moments in Dragon Ball history and proves Gigantic Omegastorm is Broly’s most powerful on-screen technique.
