The top 10 best-selling manga of 2025 have finally been revealed, packed with fan-favorite Shonen Jump titles and a few surprising entries.
According to Oricon, the top 10 manga across three main categories were announced, with the top four volumes each selling over 1.2 million copies. The rest of the list ranges from 566,342 to 977,955 copies sold.
While the list is mostly dominated by shonen hits, both The Apothecary Diaries and Kingdom stand out as slower-paced, dramatic series that earned their spots. The Apothecary Diaries offers readers a story full of intense personal drama, while Kingdom presents a fictionalized retelling of China’s Warring States period.
Spy x Family, My Hero Academia, and Jujutsu Kaisen are familiar names to anime and manga fans, having maintained strong popularity for a long time to secure their places on the list. This is especially true for My Hero Academia, which has seen renewed interest ahead of its anime finale next summer.

Perhaps the least surprising title on the list, let alone the one dominating it, is One Piece.
Eiichiro Oda’s classic manga becoming the best-selling series of the year is a huge achievement, especially with many major releases on the horizon. Notably, 2025 marks the third consecutive year One Piece has topped the charts, and the 15th time overall, the most any series has ever achieved in Oricon’s annual manga rankings.
Fans are eagerly awaiting the next anime season coming next year, which will cover the famous Elbaf Arc from the original manga. There may even be a subtle confirmation of the voice actor for a notorious new character debuting when the arc begins in 2026.
Kenjiro Tsuda Voices Figarland Shamrock

Kenjiro Tsuda, known for his role as Nanami Kento in Jujutsu Kaisen, recently voiced Figarland Shamrock in One Piece. Shamrock is the ruthless older brother of Red-Haired Shanks, appearing briefly as a guest character in the Levely arc (episode 887). Since then, fans have eagerly awaited not only Shamrock’s return but also who would voice him.
Fortunately, a trailer for the upcoming Volume 113 of One Piece may have answered that question, with Tsuda’s voice heard for Shamrock in the official promo.
One Piece’s ongoing success, alongside promising manga like Spy x Family, My Hero Academia, and Jujutsu Kaisen, shows the manga market is stronger than ever, laying a solid foundation for the next era of anime.
