A Pokémon Trading Card Game (Pokémon TCG) collector lost thousands of dollars worth of sealed cards and products after his collection was completely destroyed by a sewage flood. The heartbreaking incident was detailed by Reddit user Substantial-Pie-4973 on the r/PokemonTCG forum, accompanied by shocking images of the damage.

According to his post, the leak occurred in his grandmother’s basement, where he and his wife stored belongings while house hunting. A broken drain pipe flooded the basement for three days before the problem was discovered.
Among the damaged items were binders, Elite Trainer boxes, and sealed booster boxes, most of which had to be discarded due to water damage and contamination.
