Although nearly half the crew already uses Haki, that still isn’t enough. The Straw Hats need more Haki users, and Nico Robin, the crew’s archaeologist, is the next who must obtain it. Despite her 930 million Beli bounty, Robin’s current strength doesn’t match her bounty, and that needs to change soon.
Nico Robin is the next Straw Hat to master Haki
Right now, the Straw Hat who most urgently needs Haki is Nico Robin. This is mainly due to her high bounty and the level of combat ability required at her rank.
To put it in perspective, her bounty is comparable to Smoothie’s, who currently has a 932 million Beli bounty. Robin’s bounty is higher than Cracker, Snack, and even Perospero. All of these powerful characters are skilled Haki users, yet Robin still lacks it. Clearly, Robin’s bounty is at a Commander level, but her current strength falls short.
Furthermore, Robin has proven her ability to fight high-level opponents. She once faced and defeated Tobi Roppo member Black Maria in Wano. Her next step is clearly to battle Commander-level officers from the Four Emperors’ crews with similar bounties.
For Robin, gaining Haki now is crucial if she wants to compete at that level. Oda definitely needs to give her this power.
If Robin truly masters Armament and Observation Haki, combined with the power of the Hana Hana no Mi and her Fish-Man Karate skills, she would become incredibly strong, capable of fighting and even defeating the Four Emperors’ commanders.
