In the world of One Piece, discrimination is a harsh reality. We see the Mink Tribe and the Fishmen oppressed by humans, despite their innocence.
What makes Luffy unique is that he never cares about race. He’s always ready to help anyone who is oppressed. So far, six races have shown their willingness to repay his kindness by standing with him.
1. The Giants of Elbaf
The royal family of Elbaf hasn’t officially declared support for Luffy yet. However, many giants have already helped him, from Dorry and Brogy to Oimo and Kashii.
In fact, one member of the Straw Hat Grand Fleet is Hajrudin, who leads a pirate crew made up entirely of giant warriors!
2. The Mink Tribe
Currently, both kings Inuarashi and Nekomamushi wholeheartedly support Luffy and the Kozuki family.
Considering that Kozuki Oden once aimed to open Wano’s borders to help Joy Boy’s successor, if Luffy truly is the new Joy Boy, Inuarashi and Nekomamushi would surely mobilize the entire Mink Tribe to back the Straw Hats!
3. The Fishmen
At first, Luffy clashed with cruel fishmen like Arlong and his crew. But kind-hearted fishmen have always existed, and now many of them have become powerful allies of Luffy.
Jinbe and the Sun Pirates even risked their lives to protect Luffy. Moreover, Princess Shirahoshi and the entire Ryugu royal family hold the Straw Hat captain in the highest regard.
4. The Skypieans (Sky Island Residents)
Former god Gan Fall owes Luffy a great debt of gratitude after Luffy defeated Enel. Many Skypieans share this appreciation. If Gan Fall hears that Luffy is in trouble on the blue seas below, he could easily deploy Skypiea’s forces to assist him.
5. The Shandia Tribe
Like the Skypieans, the Shandia originate from the Moon and left it long ago. The difference is that the Shandia once lived on the blue seas before their island was lifted to the Sky Island.
The Shandia once fought the Skypieans, but now they have joined forces with Gan Fall and the island’s residents.
And don’t forget, they also owe Luffy a huge favor. If Luffy needs help and they learn of it, Wiper and other warriors will definitely join the fight to support him.
6. The Tontatta Tribe (Dwarves)
The Tontatta Tribe is fully on Luffy’s side. They are grateful to the Straw Hats for rescuing Princess Mansherry and freeing Dressrosa from Doflamingo’s rule. In fact, Leo is now an official member of the Straw Hat Grand Fleet.
