The Connection Between Sukuna and Aliens
Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo centers on an extraterrestrial invasion, hinting at a possible link between Sukuna and aliens. This idea seems hard to believe since, in the original story, Sukuna was thought to be human but born deformed after absorbing his twin brother in the womb. However, his inhuman appearance and clues in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo suggest he might have alien ancestry.
Beyond his non-human look, which resembles one of the aliens in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo, no explanation has been given for why Angel calls Sukuna the “Fallen One.” Moreover, in chapter 233, Gojo tells Sukuna he looks like a “lost alien.”
In Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo chapter 1, the alien mothership is named Naunax. In Japanese, Naunax is written as “ナウナクス,” with the last three characters reversed spelling Sukuna: “スクナ.” While this might be a playful detail, it could also hint that Sukuna is connected to the aliens, especially since Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo also features twin siblings.

Another intriguing detail is that one of the alien creatures aboard the mothership resembles Master Tengen. While some speculate Tengen’s appearance results from his long lifespan, Kenjaku pointed out in chapter 208 that he looks like Sukuna. This suggests both might share a connection to the Simurian aliens.
Furthermore, since Sukuna’s dual human-alien nature is emphasized, and Modulo shows the aliens have a similar nature, it’s possible Sukuna is a half-human, half-alien entity. Another clear fact is that Maru’s cursed technique seems to oppose Sukuna’s Dismantle, as Maru can combine things while Sukuna tears them apart.

Akutami previously revealed that Sukuna is based on a Japanese myth about a demon named Ryomen Sukuna.
