The massive success of Solo Leveling continues to create waves as several new webtoons are set to receive worthy adaptations from Warner Bros. Animation.
According to Variety magazine, a recent collaboration between WEBTOON Entertainment and Warner Bros. Animation will bring four popular webtoon series to the small screen, with one more promising title potentially joining the lineup:
1. Hardcore Leveling Warrior

Following the success of Sword Art Online and more recently Shangri-La Frontier, virtual reality (VR) games have become a popular anime premise. This makes Hardcore Leveling Warrior a strong contender to become the next big title in this genre.
The story follows Gong Won-Ho, who is mysteriously assassinated and reset to Level 1. Now, he must relearn his skills and find a way back to the top in a classic “zero to hero” journey.
2. The Stellar Swordmaster

The Stellar Swordmaster offers a distinct vibe and could become the next major animated IP. This dark fantasy series has been highly praised by fans, with a surprisingly deep storyline.
It centers on Vlad, a clever orphan living on the streets. He pursues great power with the help of a sentient sword, and his brutal climb up the social ladder promises to make for a compelling film.
3. Down to Earth

Another confirmed WEBTOON adaptation is Down to Earth. Its genre is quite fresh and could be the perfect pick for fans of Dandadan.
Essentially, it’s a sci-fi romance and slice-of-life story about the evolving relationship between Kade, a lonely young man coping with a painful breakup, and Zaida, an innocent alien girl whose spaceship crashes in his backyard.
4. Elf & Warrior

Elves have always been a central attraction in fantasy stories, so it’s no surprise Elf & Warrior is getting an adaptation, especially with its unique premise.
As the title suggests, the story follows an elf and a warrior who first meet during a robbery and quickly team up for various missions. The plot blends humor, action, and the growing bond between the two leads, bringing a fresh energy.
5. UnOrdinary (Potential)

Although not yet confirmed, UnOrdinary is one of the standout titles likely to receive an adaptation through this new partnership. Honestly, it would be a huge miss if Warner Bros. passes on it.
The story is a classic about a character hiding immense powers in a world full of superheroes, not because he has a grand goal, but simply because he refuses to participate in an oppressive power hierarchy. However, his comfortable life ends brutally when he enters high school.
Reports indicate this collaboration aims to bring a total of 10 hit webtoons to screens worldwide. So beyond the four confirmed titles, we can expect announcements soon about UnOrdinary and five more series.
