Oona Chaplin as Varang (Leader of the Pyros Tribe)
Fans may remember Oona Chaplin as Robb Stark’s tragic wife in Game of Thrones. Now she sheds that vulnerable image to play Varang, the powerful priestess of the Mangkwan clan. Unlike other Na’vi connected deeply with nature, Varang craves death and destruction. With her mind-control abilities over other Na’vi, she is Jake Sully’s most formidable adversary yet.
David Thewlis as Peylak
Known as “Professor Lupin” from the Harry Potter series, David Thewlis appears as Peylak, leader of the Wind Traders clan. Though his screen time is brief, Peylak’s role is expected to expand significantly in future sequels.
Sam Worthington as Jake Sully & Zoe Saldana as Neytiri
The lead couple are no longer invincible warriors. Jake wrestles with grief and unintentionally takes out his frustrations on his son Lo’ak.
Meanwhile, Neytiri grows increasingly extreme and hostile toward humans, even her adopted son Spider. Varang’s presence forces Neytiri to confront how hatred is corrupting her soul.
Stephen Lang as Colonel Miles Quaritch
The most persistent villain in film history returns. Now inhabiting an Avatar body with human memories, Quaritch not only seeks to destroy Jake but also to reclaim his son Spider. His brutal military mind combined with the fanaticism of the Mangkwan fire clan promises a deadly alliance.
Sigourney Weaver as Kiri
Though Dr. Grace Augustine sacrificed herself in the first film, her spirit was blessed by the deity Eywa and reborn in an Avatar body, giving life to the miraculous girl Kiri. In The Way of Water, Kiri discovers a powerful spiritual bond with Eywa, granting her supernatural abilities to communicate with and control Pandora’s nature and creatures. In Fire and Ash, she seeks to deepen her spiritual journey and uncover the mystery of her origins.
Britain Dalton as Lo’ak
While The Way of Water hinted that Lo’ak would be a new central character, in Fire and Ash he struggles with the pain of losing his brother and teenage rebellion. He often clashes with his parents and tries to prove himself in misguided ways, causing trouble. Yet when the Pyros tribe threatens his family, his determination to prevent further tragedy drives him to mature and protect his loved ones.
Jack Champion as Spider
No longer a sidelined boy, Spider’s role in this film is crucial, far beyond the complications of his blood ties to Quaritch.
Kate Winslet as Ronal
After a rocky start in The Way of Water, Ronal and Neytiri put aside their differences to fight for the ocean. In Fire and Ash, Ronal faces a major challenge protecting her tribe while nearing childbirth.
