Even though fans are still recovering from the disappointment of the previous season, the news about One Punch Man Season 3 Part 2 has officially been confirmed. However, excitement is mixed with serious concerns after the production studio and release date were revealed.

Expected Release Date: Is 1.5 Years Enough for a Turnaround?

One Punch Man Season 3 Part 2 Release Date

Production for Part 2 began immediately after the final episode of Part 1 aired. Official sources say the next installment is scheduled to arrive in Summer 2027.

Compared to the five-year gap between Seasons 2 and 3, the 1.5-year wait for the next part is a double-edged sword. On one hand, fans won’t have to wait long to see the conclusion of the battle. On the other hand, it raises worries: if five years wasn’t enough time for J.C.Staff to deliver a quality adaptation, can less than two years avoid an even worse drop in animation quality?

Despite harsh criticism labeling Part 1 as one of the worst anime adaptations ever, the story in the upcoming Part 2 remains too compelling for fans to ignore.

According to the original manga, the story will reach its most intense climax with the epic showdown between Saitama and Monster Garou. At this point, Garou has reached a threat level comparable to Orochi, becoming a catastrophic danger to humanity. Meanwhile, the S-Class heroes will showcase their final displays of power to wipe out the remnants of the Monster Association.

Even if the animation doesn’t improve, these iconic events are enough to carry the season’s excitement. Fans are hoping for a remarkable comeback from J.C.Staff after the heavy backlash.

With a promising story but risky visuals ahead, will you patiently wait for the anime or dive into Yusuke Murata’s manga for a more satisfying experience?
