1. Kazuya Kinoshita from Rent-a-Girlfriend
Kazuya Kinoshita is portrayed as a “loser without a girlfriend” who turns to a rental girlfriend service after being dumped. He’s annoying because he keeps trying to force this paid relationship into something more real. While Kazuya is seen as foolish for choosing a clearly ineffective solution, he’s even more foolish for thinking such a poorly thought-out plan could continue without causing more problems.
2. Rudeus Greyrat from Mushoku Tensei
Rudeus Greyrat is called “irredeemably awful and incomprehensible.” Despite being given a second chance at life, he keeps making terrible choices and is described as a “completely despicable person.”
It would be different if he made understandable mistakes, then regretted them and tried to improve. Instead, he repeatedly makes horrible decisions that should have led to much harsher consequences: not only being rightly shunned by society but deserving a life sentence in prison.
3. Kokoro from Darling in the Franxx
Kokoro is criticized for her “fake fragile appearance” that hides her faults. Many blame Futoshi for pressuring Kokoro into promising a long-term relationship, but Kokoro is at fault for not honestly expressing her doubts, leading Futoshi to misunderstand and be misled.
As Futoshi’s original partner, Kokoro neglected the responsibility to communicate her true feelings openly. Although her feelings for Mitsuru seem sudden even to viewers, it’s even more shocking for poor Futoshi.
4. Nina from Berserk
Nina is described as extremely selfish and cowardly, with a “weak, pitiful personality” but also “two-faced and foolish.” She led her lover to death because of the cult she belonged to, despite initially appearing as a tragic soul. Her personality and physical condition are stuck in a pointless vicious cycle.

Although recognized as a kid learning to be an older brother, Kun Ota is compared to the notoriously annoying cartoon character Caillou. Why? Because if you ever lost your mind over Caillou’s whining, Kun in Mirai might feel familiar. Delia Ketchum, Ash’s mother, is often seen as a typical supportive anime mom. However, there are big flaws in her parenting that get overlooked. Think about it: who sends their 10-year-old child out into a dangerous world with just a brand-new Pokémon that clearly dislikes him and a backpack full of clean underwear? Ash even gets chased by a criminal organization, and Delia remains clueless and carefree.
10. Miki Kawai from A Silent Voice
Miki Kawai is described as a “sneaky antagonist” with a “quiet, fake fragile appearance” hiding her selfish and arrogant true nature. She acts innocent, kind, and responsible on the surface but is two-faced. She participates in bullying the deaf student Shōko Nishimiya, blames Shōya Ishida, denies personal responsibility, and plays the victim to avoid accountability.
