While the Yu-Gi-Oh! market may not reach the wild price heights of Magic: The Gathering or Pokémon, it still holds true treasures that every collector dreams of.
The ranking below is based on market prices from the trusted pricing site TCGPlayer (for English card versions) as of May 2026. In some cases, actual sales above market value have been prioritized.
7. Ten Thousand Dragon (Battles of Legend: Armageddon), $718.83 ≈ 18,294,000 VND

Kicking off the list is a historic card: Ten Thousand Dragon. This card was printed to celebrate the milestone of the 10,000th unique Yu-Gi-Oh! card release.
To mark this special event, Konami gave it a Secret Rare holographic effect with the number “10000” subtly printed in the text box. This Dragon/Effect monster can only be special summoned by tributing monsters on the field whose combined attack and defense points total 10,000 or more. Upon successful summon, its attack and defense instantly reach 10,000 points.
6. Caius The Shadow Monarch (Turbo Pack: Booster Three), $790.00 ≈ 20,105,000 VND

Although its market price usually hovers around $705, a near-mint copy recently sold for $790 in May.
First appearing in the 2008 The Dark Emperor structure deck, the Ultimate Rare version from the 2010 Turbo Pack pushed Caius’s value sky-high. For comparison, the second rarest version from the 2024 Quarter Century Bonanza set is currently priced around $75.
5. Bottomless Trap Hole (Champion Pack Four), $799.95 ≈ 20,359,000 VND

Not far behind is a classic trap card familiar to all duelists: Bottomless Trap Hole. This Super Rare version from Champion Pack Four commands a price just shy of $800.
Its high value comes from its iconic status and the rarity of the vintage pack. Strategically, this trap is extremely useful, able to destroy and banish any opponent’s monster with 1,500 or more attack points as soon as it hits the field. Other common versions of this trap card rarely exceed $16.
4. Cyber End Dragon (Cybernetic Revolution), $874.95 ≈ 22,267,000 VND

Cyber End Dragon saw a significant price jump recently. The nearly $875 price tag belongs to the first print from the Cybernetic Revolution series.
Its rarity in mint condition is so high that even a damaged card recently fetched $358.29. Currently, the only listing on TCGPlayer is a heavily damaged copy.
3. Elemental Hero Shining Flare Wingman (Elemental Energy), $1,000.00 ≈ 25,450,000 VND

This card is a special case this May. Although current public listings are priced at about half the market value, the most recent sale of a perfect Ultimate 1st Edition copy reached $1,250. With an average valuation of $1,000, Jaden Yuki’s fusion hero deserves the third spot.
2. Dark Magician (Video Game Promo), $1,256.78 ≈ 31,985,000 VND

It’s no surprise that the Dark Magician takes the runner-up spot, thanks to its massive fanbase from both the anime and real life.
This pricey version is a promotional card bundled with early computer games. In April, a sale closed at $1,148.67, but by May, its value surged past $1,250 due to scarce supply, pushing its rarity to critical levels.
1. Blue-Eyes White Dragon (Video Game Promo), $3,000.00 ≈ 76,350,000 VND

When the Dark Magician calls, the Blue-Eyes White Dragon surely answers. The undisputed king of May 2026 is none other than Blue-Eyes White Dragon.
Like the Dark Magician, this is a promo version tied to classic video games, with a $3,000 price tag reserved for cards in excellent condition. Experts predict Blue-Eyes White Dragon’s dominance will remain unchallenged for years, unless Konami releases limited numbered editions that shake up the market.
