Shu Sakuratani revealed that he was stuck creatively until the image of a rooster suddenly came to mind. “Honestly, I tried many different creatures, but the rooster felt just right. I had a pet rooster as a child, which probably inspired me. Once I chose the rooster as the main character, everything else fell into place magically.” Sakuratani shared.
