In the world of Jujutsu Kaisen, Domain Expansion is considered the ultimate technique, the trump card that decides victory or defeat. However, the latest chapter of the Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo sequel stunned fans by introducing a completely new method to overcome this supreme ability, achieved by only one person.

1. Breaking the rules: The third way to outplay Domain Expansion

Before chapter 22 of Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo released on February 15, 2026, sorcerers had only two classic ways to counter Domain Expansion:

The first was using Simplified Domain to temporarily resist. The second was Domain Clash, where one uses their own Domain to confront the opponent directly, as Gojo and Sukuna often do.

But author Gege Akutami has now introduced a third option that sounds simple but was previously impossible for most. It involves stopping Domain Expansion right before it activates. Theoretically, this seems obvious, but in practice, interrupting a technique in the blink of an eye was an unsolved challenge… until Yuji appeared.

2. A lightning-fast rematch: Mahito caught off guard by Yuji

In the latest developments, fans eagerly awaited the rematch between protagonist Itadori Yuji and his arch-nemesis Mahito. Everyone expected an earth-shattering battle, but the fight was decided in mere seconds thanks to Yuji’s remarkable power boost.

Yuji Itadori stops Mahito's Domain Expansion

Just as Mahito was about to activate his Domain Expansion, Idle Death Prison, to manipulate the entire space, Yuji struck with lightning speed. In a flash, he severed Mahito’s tongue and fingers, essential parts for casting the technique. This move not only proved Yuji’s power had reached a new peak but also showed his speed and agility had surpassed all previous limits.

3. Yuji Itadori redefines the power ceiling in Jujutsu Kaisen

With this feat, Yuji becomes the only person in the entire Jujutsu Kaisen universe to pull off this third way to counter Domain Expansion. After a timeskip, Yuji seems to have reached a “divine level.” He not only fully controls Sukuna’s power but wields it at an astonishing speed.

To put it in perspective, Mahito takes just 0.5 seconds to activate his Domain. Yuji’s ability to intervene and stop it within that brief moment proves his reflexes now surpass geniuses like Gojo and the Cursed King Sukuna.

This achievement not only sets a new benchmark on the power scale but also unintentionally overshadows legends like Gojo and Sukuna. While the two strongest figures in history still rely on Domain Clash, Yuji simply shuts down his opponents before they can act. Clearly, Yuji has pushed the power ceiling of Jujutsu Kaisen to an entirely new height, making him the most dominant sorcerer in history.
