Netflix has just released its “What We Watched” report for the first half of 2026, revealing the anime series with the highest viewership on the platform. It’s no surprise that One Piece continues to dominate by a wide margin, while Naruto, Jujutsu Kaisen, and Demon Slayer maintain their strong appeal.

Anime remains one of Netflix’s biggest draws, attracting tens of millions of views worldwide. Based on official data from the “What We Watched” report, here are the top 10 anime franchises with the highest total views in the first six months of 2026.

10. Hunter x Hunter, 12.6 million views

Although the 2011 anime adaptation ended years ago, Hunter x Hunter still holds incredible appeal with 12.6 million views.

Many viewers initially came for the Chimera Ant arc but were captivated by the entire journey of Gon and Killua. From the Hunter Exam and Yorknew City to Chimera Ant, Yoshihiro Togashi’s work remains one of the best shonen anime ever made.

9. The Seven Deadly Sins, 12.8 million views

One of the biggest surprises this year is Devil May Cry. Despite being new, the anime adaptation of the popular game franchise has earned 13.4 million views, with season 2 alone contributing 9.1 million.

Instead of sticking closely to the original story, the series takes its own path while preserving Dante’s spirit through fast-paced demon hunting and stunning action scenes.
