Boruto: Two Blue Vortex delivered an intense chapter this month, finally giving fans a fierce battle between Uzumaki Boruto and Jura. As expected, the fight was brief, mostly because Boruto was no match for Jura.
In chapter 23 of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, another character stronger than Boruto was introduced, none other than Kawaki.
Kawaki Is Stronger Than Uzumaki Boruto
As seen in chapter 23, Kawaki officially joins the fight. In the previous chapter, it was clear he was incredibly strong, given the serious damage he inflicted on Jura. Kawaki pierced Jura’s head and eye with his chakra blade, causing severe injuries, even though Jura could easily heal afterward.
This is notable because fans know Boruto only managed two precise hits on Jura. After the Uzuhiko technique, Boruto struggled to keep up, while Kawaki was much more effective.
But that’s not all. Kawaki is shown using the first stage of Karma, making his attacks far more devastating. Fans know Boruto is powerful and can rival Kawaki in his normal state, but when Karma activates, Kawaki clearly has the edge.
Even more intriguing, Kawaki is only using Karma’s first stage. He can activate the second stage and unlock his full Otsutsuki power. Given the current situation, Uzumaki Boruto falls short of Kawaki’s strength, mainly because he hasn’t mastered Karma’s power yet.
Boruto Needs to Master Karma
Uzumaki Boruto is strong and has spent years becoming a warrior capable of fighting foes like Code and even Shinju without relying on Karma. He doesn’t want Momoshiki to control his body. However, this might not be the best approach. Boruto needs to learn how to control his power, which means mastering both stages of Karma.
Boruto must master Karma to prevent Momoshiki from taking over when he’s weakened. Once he succeeds, he’ll be on par with Kawaki and strong enough to defeat enemies like Jura on his own. For now, Kawaki remains stronger, a tough truth but a great motivator for Boruto’s growth.
