The new opening includes still images from manga chapters that have not yet been adapted into the anime, unintentionally revealing major plot points. This has upset anime-only viewers who don’t follow the manga. One of the staff members at Toei even issued a warning about this. While the obvious solution might be to skip the opening entirely, doing so would defeat the purpose of introducing a new theme song.
One Piece Anime Has Faced Criticism Before

Fans are clearly enjoying the anime, but it looks like another break is on the horizon. The studio will need to pause production at some point to give the staff time to rest.
This hiatus may come after the Egghead arc concludes. The anime recently wrapped up Kuma’s flashback and will now cover the rest of the arc, meaning fans will soon see Luffy and the Straw Hat crew face off against Saint Jaygarcia Saturn and the Navy. The heroes are clearly at a disadvantage and must fight to survive.
