One-Punch Man is among the popular franchises set to return with new episodes this fall, but fans are growing increasingly anxious about Season 3 due to the lack of significant updates.
Concerns Have Ground
Originally scheduled for an October release to mark the series’ 10th anniversary, fans have been met mostly with silence. At Anime NYC 2025, where many expected a grand trailer or fresh key visuals, the producers only revealed the opening theme song “Get No Satisfied!” performed by JAM Project and Babymetal. While exciting news, it was not what fans were hoping for.
Instead of a flashy preview or new artwork, the only update was the theme song announcement. This has only heightened unease, especially after One-Punch Man was absent from Anime Expo 2025 earlier this summer.

These worries are not unfounded. Aside from a few slowly released posters featuring returning characters, Season 3 has revealed little else. With the new season fast approaching, the absence of official details about the story and animation quality is causing fans to fret.
A previously released teaser has only added to the confusion, as rumors suggest the footage was created solely for promotional use and may not reflect the final animation quality. So far, this has neither been confirmed nor denied.
Production Team and Unanswered Questions

Although the Season 2 production team returns for Season 3, with J.C. Staff handling the animation and familiar names like Chikashi Kubota as character designer and Makoto Miyazaki composing the music, the lack of information remains a major mystery. There is still no confirmed release date or word on any delays.
With Season 3 expected in less than two months, fans should brace themselves for any outcome, including the possibility that the animation quality might not meet initial expectations.
