The world of Jujutsu Kaisen is filled with powerful warriors, but for a long time, Satoru Gojo stood alone at the peak of glory. The narrator often emphasized that Gojo was an absolute exception, a rule-breaker in the sorcerer world. Blessed with innate talent, genius intellect, and relentless effort, even when facing death, Gojo could unlock new techniques to grow stronger.
However, all that glory has now faded into the past as the story moves into the sequel. Yuji Itadori’s extraordinary development has pushed the gap between master and student so wide that any comparison between Yuji and Gojo now seems completely absurd.
An “Invincible” Satoru Gojo in the Past

In the original story, Gojo’s power was ridiculously extraordinary. He turned special grade curses into useless punching bags, making his colleagues look incompetent, and few enemies could make him sweat. Thanks to the Limitless technique, Gojo created an infinite space separating himself from the outside world, making it impossible for anyone to touch him without permission.
Combined with the Six Eyes, his ability to see through and perfectly optimize cursed energy, and Reverse Cursed Technique to constantly heal his brain, Gojo possessed an almost limitless energy source. He was so dangerous that even a seasoned villain like Kenjaku admitted he couldn’t kill Gojo and had to resort to a scheme to imprison him in the Prison Realm.
Yet, all these “game-breaking” stats suddenly seem small when compared to Yuji in the sequel titled Jujutsu Kaisen: Modulo.
The Unstoppable Rise of Itadori Yuji in Jujutsu Kaisen: Modulo
Jujutsu Kaisen: Modulo is an excellent sequel that delivers a concise, decisive storyline and quickly resolves plot points. Among the new ideas introduced, nothing is more exciting than the new look and power of the main character, Itadori Yuji.
After inheriting part of a curse’s bloodline, Yuji now has a lifespan extended by hundreds of years, and he has made the most of this time. Yuji not only fully masters the Red Blood Manipulation technique of his brother Choso but also uses Sukuna’s ultimate techniques smoothly, even surpassing what the King of Curses once demonstrated.
Yuji’s arrogance is clearly shown in his rematch with Mahito, one of the most cruel and powerful curses in history. Now, Yuji is so strong that he doesn’t even need to take his hand out of his pocket when facing him. This indifferent, cold attitude shows he is no longer the naive student he once was but has risen to become a new supreme force.
Whereas Sukuna once struggled to find a weakness to defeat Gojo, Yuji today can destroy his former master with ease and no effort. This dramatic transformation is a major highlight that solidifies Jujutsu Kaisen: Modulo as a must-watch sequel.
