7. Nagato

5. Jin Bubaigawara
Jin Bubaigawara, also known as Twice, is one of the most tragic villains in My Hero Academia. His death ranks fifth because his final instinct was still to protect his friends.
After suffering a critical injury from Hawks, Jin used his power to create a double to try to save Toga and Mr. Compress. The last clone reached Toga, gently wiped her face with her handkerchief, then vanished in her arms.

2. Akaza
Akaza from Demon Slayer is second because his death brought a terrifying Upper Moon back to the man he once was, Hakuji. When Tanjiro and Giyu pushed Akaza to his limits, buried memories resurfaced: images of his father, master Keizo, and fiancée Koyuki helped him remember who he used to be.
Akaza finally gave up his regeneration ability and accepted death. Before passing, he apologized to Koyuki for failing to protect her. What makes this scene heartbreaking is that redemption came after over a century of violence. Akaza found Hakuji again, but it was too late.
1. Ulquiorra
Ulquiorra from Bleach tops the list because his death turned a fierce battle into an unexpected farewell. After Ichigo defeated him, Ulquiorra’s body began to dissolve. But before vanishing completely, he admitted he had started to feel curious about humans and what they call “the heart.”
