What makes this outfit special is not its power or stats, but its symbolic value. This is the outfit Goku wears on the cover of the final volume of the Dragon Ball Z manga, where he waves goodbye to readers with the famous words: “Thank you! Good bye!!”
That image marked the end of Dragon Ball Z’s manga journey and remains one of the most memorable moments for multiple generations of fans.
The Xenoverse 2 version closely recreates this outfit, featuring the loose shirt and baggy pants with colors similar to the manga’s final chapter. The main difference lies in the shoes, which have been slightly altered to fit the game’s model.
To get this outfit, players need to visit the STP Medal Festival Shop within Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. However, the price is not cheap.
Each piece of the Goku’s Old Gi costs 300 STP Medals, significantly higher than most other costumes in the game. This makes it one of the priciest items added in the final update.
Alongside this, the game also introduced the Angel Set, a new accessory bundle that gives characters angel wings and a halo above their heads, offering more customization options.
