During the official promotional event for the film in Japan, the director openly supported the idea that Broly could definitely defeat Gogeta. He stated, “The final battle between Gogeta and Broly was brutal. If it really happened, the outcome could easily go either way.”
Unstable power due to loss of control and the solution from a new form
In fact, in his Legendary Super Saiyan form, Broly grows stronger the longer he fights. He can fully catch up to Gogeta Super Saiyan Blue if the battle doesn’t end too quickly.
