Major Anime Returning in Fall 2025
The Fall 2025 anime season officially kicks off this October, and fans have some highly anticipated returns to look forward to. My Hero Academia comes back for its eighth and final season, which is expected to be the most talked-about series as it concludes the epic battle between heroes and villains once and for all. Another major action hit returning is One-Punch Man, finally making its comeback with Season 3 after several years away.
One-Punch Man will continue the fight against the Monster Association, introducing some brand-new story elements as teased by the original creator. Spy x Family also returns with Season 3, kicking off a major new arc focused on Anya Forger, following Yor’s own story in Season 2.

New Anime Premiering in Fall 2025
While there are plenty of big returns, several new adaptations from popular manga and light novels are also on the way. Paru Itagaki, known for Beastars, has attracted a lot of attention from anime fans, and this fall will see the debut of another one of their works.
Sanda tells the wild story of a boy who transforms into a muscular Santa Claus warrior, and it’s as crazy as it sounds. Gintama by Hideaki Sorachi is also returning with a new school-themed spin-off series, which fans will definitely want to check out.
Other notable new titles include several isekai series such as My Status as an Assassin Clearly Exceeds the Hero’s, A Gatherer’s Adventure in Isekai, My Gift Lvl 9999 Unlimited Gacha: Backstabbed in a Backwater Dungeon, I’m Out for Revenge!, and many more.
There are also popular fantasy titles outside the isekai genre gaining attention, including With You, Our Love Will Make It Through, The Banished Court Magician Aims to Become the Strongest, The Warrior Princess and the Barbaric King, May I Ask for One Final Thing?, among others.
