One Piece Chapter 1162 has officially unveiled some of the most shocking secrets in history, turning the God Valley event into an unbelievable chaotic battle for survival. This chapter is not just a pirate fight but a clash between legends and supernatural forces.
1. The Rocks Family Tragedy: Xebec’s Harsh Choice
The chapter opens with Rayleigh carrying Shakky as they flee God Valley. Notably, Shiki stops other pirates from attacking Rayleigh, fearing harm might come to Shakky.
Then Rocks D. Xebec appears, carrying Eris (his wife) and Teach (his son) on his back as they try to escape. However, they are pursued by Garling, the Holy Knights, and several devil humans, members of the Davy family, including Rocks’ father and grandmother.
Horrified, Rocks exclaims, “Damn it! Are they immortal? Anyone caught turns into those things! What exactly are they? Whose power is this? Father!! Grandmother!! What happened to you both?”
In a desperate moment, Eris makes a tragic decision. She jumps off Rocks’ back and says farewell while recalling images of Rocks’ parents. Eris accepts the fate of the Davy clan’s sacrifice: “I know the fate of this clan… so you have to let me go… If we get caught, I’ll kill Teach and then myself! Let both of us survive! See you at ‘Lulusia,’ Xebec!”
What follows is a horrifying scene where Rocks kills all his relatives in the Davy family to stop them from turning into “those things.” He says if they want to kill him, he must strike first. Garling is severely injured and coughs up blood after fighting Rocks.
2. Kaido Steals the Azure Dragon Devil Fruit from Big Mom
Meanwhile, the chaotic treasure fight continues. Linlin (Big Mom) has seized the Uo Uo no Mi, Model: Seiryu from Ivankov, while Kuma is helping civilians with his newly acquired powers.
Linlin excitedly declares, “Katakuri will eat the Uo Uo no Mi! My crew must become incredibly strong in the future…”
Suddenly, Kaido appears behind Linlin and strikes her face with his kanabo! He immediately consumes the Uo Uo no Mi and transforms into a dragon, soaring into the sky.
3. Imu’s Appearance: Rocks, Whitebeard, and Kaido Unite
At the end of the chapter, the most shocking event occurs: Imu appears at God Valley through Saturn’s body. Saturn transforms into a monstrous Ox Demon, with Imu’s familiar shadowy figure and glowing eyes standing atop him.
Rocks sees the terrifying creature and prepares to fight, but Newgate (Whitebeard) arrives and joins Rocks in facing Imu and Saturn. Then, on the final double page, Kaido in dragon form flies in to join Rocks and Whitebeard.

When Newgate asks, “But can I ask this? What the hell is that?”, Rocks enthusiastically replies as Imu stares at them: “You want to know what that is? Let me see… I believe what we’re looking at… is ‘THE WORLD’!”
