The event 56 years ago at Mary Geoise, where the Rocks Pirates clashed directly with Imu, is the key starting point for everything. With Eris and Teach saved by Kuma, it’s very likely she passed on knowledge of the supreme being Imu to her son.
Since then, Teach has spent his life building a “weapon arsenal” of Devil Fruits not to conquer the seas, but to carry out a devastating overthrow of the World Government.
