According to the annual survey from Japan’s trusted Anime! Anime! portal, Frieren, the main character of the hit series Sousou no Frieren, was officially crowned the “Twintail Queen” of 2026. With 13% of the total votes, she made a remarkable leap from second place last year to stand at number one.
Fans are captivated by more than just Frieren’s charming looks. They are thrilled by the contrast between her thousand-year-old age and her youthful low twintails hairstyle.
